I was looking over some of the images captured for various jobs done in 2024 and one home really demonstrated the concept of Golden hour. Golden hour is defined as the first hour after sunup, or the last hour of the evening before the sun goes down. The light is generally a little warmer, and shadows have a larger effect.
To see what it looks like, here's a home I did for local landscape company in the Twin Cities. I captured images in the morning and evening golden hour, and in the early afternoon.
Of the three, I like the evening the best with the soft lighting and real light glow coming from inside the house. What's your favorite?
